This book made me want to read everything written by Sidney Bristol. I loved it. When forced to make a deal with her sister to save her mother's pearls, Christine has no idea the consequences of her actions. As she meets the master who won a submissive in a poker game, Christine sets up her limits which she begins to regret as she grows closer to her Dom, Daniel for the evening. As they bond during their time together, Christine takes him up on his offer to accompany him home for the night. As they begin to date and explore the boundaries of being Dom and Submissive in the bedroom, while equals outside; Christine experiences a family crisis which sends her running from the very man who can help. Can Daniel overcome Christine's issues and be the man she needs to love her through the pain?
